Abstract
Alysicarpus sanjappae S. Chavan, Sardesai & Pokle, family Fabaceae was analysed phytochemically to know the chemical constituents. The Ethanolic leaf extract derived by Soxhlet's extraction method was used for the analysis of Phenolic compounds by paper chromatography method and other compounds by HRLC-MS method. The results showed the presence of Flavonoids - Rutin, Apiin, Vitexin and its derivatives; Acacetin, phenolic acids, Steroids, Phenolic glycosides - Hypoxoside, Antibiotics - Dihydrodeoxystreptomycin, Chaulmosulfone, Clindamycin sulfoxide, Khayanthone, Deoxysappanone B-7, and 3'-dimethyl Ether Acetate etc.
