Rural women: The key to agricultural production and food security

Abstract

The study yielded a number of indicators that women play a crucial role in providing and improving household food security. Women are more likely to use avialable resources and skills to further improve the welfare of their families specially the nutrition and health aspect.Study alsodeals with the women special knowledge of food values and divers use of plants for better nutrition,health and income.Information regarding basics of household food security in terms of tecnological intervations and technological milestones also gathered for ensurance of food security at household level.
