Assessment of proactive motivation and its relationship with psychological stability among advanced handball players in the Iraqi Elite League
Abstract
This study aims to be determining levels of proactive drive and psychological stability among elite skilled handball players in iraq league and their relationship. Depending on the type of problem to be studied, different methods are applied. The descriptive method was utilized, along with a poll and correlational analysis. The subjects of the study were handball players in Iraqi Premier League, particularly experienced players. There were 9 clubs with a total of 162 players; each team had 18. 80 group random selection, 10 players random selection. From each club for the exploratory study and (10) players from each club for the reconnaissance study. According to the findings, the researcher can formulate the following conclusions: Most players in the Iraqi Elite Handball League possess good levels of proactive motivation and psychological stability, and there is a direct relationship between proactive motivation and psychological stability. Based on the research findings, the researcher recommends the following: Coaches should use proactive motivation and psychological stability scales to understand the attitudes of Iraqi Elite Handball League players and their levels of proactive variables, in order to consider how to provide guidance and instructions to the players, and a similar study should be conducted on other groups, including women.
