Relocating of William Shakespeare in Twentieth Century

Abstract
The present paper aims at marking the literary acclamation of Shakespearean criticism in twentieth century and depiction of its shifting from A.C. Bradely which was basically focused Victorian approaches and interpretations including Formalism, Psycho-analysis, and Historicism. It marks a shifting from character- analysis to studying structural elements, contexts, new historicism and cultural studies in the late twentieth century. This paper is going to focus on the shifting the literary tendencies and interests.
