Significant sustainability-related issues, such as excessive water and energy use and chemical waste production, are also plaguing the textile and apparel industries. In order to reduce its environmental effect and promote sustainable practices, the industry must address these concerns. This article provides instances of how the textile industry may make strategic changes to enhance the use and production of environmentally friendly textile products. The textile industry can enhance consumer satisfaction and protect the environment by prioritizing the development of safer and more sustainable textiles.
