Resolving ovarian cyst with tailored homoeopathic treatment: A case report
Abstract
Background: Ovarian cysts are frequently encountered in reproductive-age women and may present with menstrual disturbances and pelvic pain. Homoeopathy offers individualized therapeutic management. Case Summary: A 24-year-old female presented with irregular menses, profuse bleeding, bloating, left iliac pain, itching, and emotional disturbances. Ultrasonography revealed a simple left ovarian cyst (1.6 × 1.8 cm). She was treated with Natrum muriaticum in individualized potencies. Over three months, she showed improvement in menstrual regularity, emotional stability, and complete cyst resolution. Conclusion: Individualized homoeopathic management demonstrated beneficial outcomes in a functional ovarian cyst.
