Evaluation of aerobic dance training effects on body mass index in college women
Abstract
The current study's objective is to assess how aerobic dancing training affects college women's body mass index. Fifteen female agricultural students from Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture, Manakkadavu, Divansapudhur, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India, were chosen as subjects for the study. Their ages ranged from eighteen to twenty-one. One week prior to and one week following twelve weeks of aerobic dancing training, body mass index was measured as a variable. For a duration of twelve weeks, the chosen participants received aerobic dancing instruction. Basic descriptive statistics and the student's t-test were used for the dependent variables in the statistical study. The body mass index of female agricultural students at the college level changed statistically significantly after twelve weeks of instruction.
