Homeopathic treatment for atopic dermatitis: An observational study

International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2025 · Vol. 9(4) · pp. 958–960

Abstract

Atopic dermatitis is a common dermatological condition affecting patients across all ages and sexes. Conventional treatment often provides symptomatic relief but is associated with recurrence, side effects, or incomplete resolution. Homeopathy, being individualized, offers a holistic approach to treatment. This observational study was conducted on 74 patients presenting with atopic dermatitis at the Dermatology Department, Shivang Homeopathic Medical College, Bhopal. Out of these, 63 patients followed regular homeopathic treatment and showed satisfactory improvement in terms of reduction in itching, scaling, lesion size, recurrence, and overall well-being. The study demonstrates the beneficial role of individualized homeopathic medicines in managing atopic dermatitis without adverse effects.
