Two year retrospective study on occurrence of Canine atopic dermatitis in Veterinary College Hospital, Bengaluru

Abstract

This study was conducted with the objectives of studying the occurrence of canine atopic dermatitis. A retrospective study from January 2019 was carried out using case sheets available at Veterinary College Bengaluru. A total of 39000 cases sheets were analysed from January 2017 to January 2019 and the occurrence of canine atopic dermatitis was observed to be 10.53% and it was most commonly seen in dogs aged between 2 years to 7 years. It was found to be the third most common dermatological disorder.
