A case report on endometrial polyp associated with PCOS: Clinical insights and evidence-based homeopathic intervention

Abstract

Endometrial polyps (EPs) are benign overgrowths of endometrial tissue, frequently linked to abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) and infertility. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age, characterized by chronic anovulation, hyperandrogenism (clinical or biochemical), and polycystic ovarian morphology on ultrasound. It predisposes patients to the development of endometrial polyps. Conventional treatment often involves surgical intervention; however, Homoeopathy with its individualistic approach can effectively treat the patient as a whole.
