Ground water conservation in different sectors and toxicity of elements with specific reference of arsenic

International Journal of Bioscience and Biochemistry · 2023 · Vol. 5(2) · pp. 53–55

Abstract

Water is found in large quantities on the earth, due to which the earth is also called the water planet, but due to it’s uneven distribution the entire living world of the earth does not get the same amount of water resources Water has many unique properties that make it an essential chemical for life. Such properties are not found together in any other substance. This is the reason why the we use of water not only in the form of medium but also for excretory medium and living medium. Water is such a liquid that it requires a lot of heat to vaporize as compared to other liquids. It takes 540 Calories to vaporize one gram of boiling water (100°c) at standard pressure and 596 Calories to vaporize one gram of water at 0°c
