Psychological profiles of kabaddi players: An empirical study based on their performance levels
International Journal of Physical Education Sports and Health · 2025 · Vol. 12(4) · pp. 331–333
Abstract
The objective of this research was to examine the differences in personality amongst male Kabaddi players of varying skill levels. The four aspects of Indian national-level gymnasts' personalities were measured using a version of Eysenck and Eysenck's Personality Questionnaire. The mean, standard deviation, and F-ratio were calculated, and the threshold of significance was established at the.05 level, to determine whether or not there were statistically significant differences in the skill levels of male Kabaddi players. State-level kabaddi players were shown to have higher levels of neuroticism, psychoticism, than the general population.
