Comparative analysis of active and passive personality traits among softball and basketball players of Uttarakhand

Abstract

The present study is an attempt to study the Activity- Passivity among Softball and Basketball Players of Uttarakhand. The sample is of a scattered nature and a list of softball and basketball players is prepared from the Uttarakhand state. The total sample consisted of 35 male softball and 35 male basketball players are selected through random sampling. Dimensional Personality Inventory (DPI), is used to find out the activity-passivity trait of personality among softball and basketball players. The results show that Softball players are more activity tendency in compare to Basketball players of Uttarakhand.
