Effect of soil and foliar application of nitrogen through organic sources on nutrient content and nutrient uptake by sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.)

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at the Instructional Farm of Agronomy, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur during kharif, 2024 to study the “Effect of Soil and Foliar Application of Nitrogen through Organic Sources on Nutrient Content and Nutrient Uptake by Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.)”. The experiment was laid out in a split plot design comprised of 16 treatment combinations that are replicated three times. Soil application of vermicompost along with foliar application of panchgavya recorded higher nutrient content and uptake which enhance growth and productivity of sorghum under organic farming system.
