The current status of physical education at Bac Son High School, Thai Nguyen: Vietnam

Abstract

Using conventional methods in sports science research, the study has assessed the current status of physical education at Bac Son High School, Thai Nguyen – Vietnam. The results indicate that the school has complied with the curriculum stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. However, the use of games in lessons remains limited, and although the school possesses relatively adequate physical infrastructure, its quality is only at a moderate level. The school shows strong interest in extracurricular activities for students; however, students' overall physical fitness remains limited.
