Screening of groundnut germplasm against Meloidogyne javanica Pathotype 2 under pot condition

Abstract
An experiment was carried out to screen the groundnut germplasms/varieties against Meloidogyne javanica pt. 2 at the Department of Nematology, BACA, AAU, Anand. A total of twenty-four groundnut entries were screened under pot conditions using an inoculum level of 1000 second-stage juveniles (J2) per plant. Among them, the varieties TG-85 and TG-26 showed moderately resistant reaction against root-knot nematode, M. javanica pt. 2.
