A study on talent management: Due to rising unemployment and population

Komal Sharma

Abstract

The rising levels of unemployment and population growth have emerged as serious concerns affecting national development and workforce stability. Talent management, which encompasses recruitment, development, and retention strategies, is becoming crucial in mitigating these effects. This research explores how effective talent management can be an answer to unemployment challenges and demographic pressures in India. Through a qualitative and analytical lens, the study investigates current trends, gaps, and the strategic role of talent management in addressing labor market mismatches. The article suggests that a systemic, inclusive, and adaptive approach to talent management can harness demographic dividends and reduce joblessness.
