Abstract
This study examines the effects of goat's rue (Galega officinalis L.), goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis L.) leaves, root extracts, and berberine on glucose uptake in HepG2 cells. These plant compounds, traditionally used to alleviate diabetes symptoms, were compared to metformin.
