Effect of latest technologies on the goat milk production and entrepreneurship in Faisalabad, Pakistan

Abstract

The goat milk industry in Pakistan, especially in regions like Faisalabad, has witnessed significant transformations due to the introduction and adoption of modern technologies. This paper explores the impact of these technological advancements on goat milk production and the emerging entrepreneurial landscape in the region. The study assesses the effectiveness of innovations in goat farming practices, milking processes, dairy processing, and marketing techniques. Additionally, it evaluates the opportunities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs involved in goat milk production and dairy-based enterprises. Through qualitative and quantitative data, this paper highlights the socioeconomic effects, efficiency gains, and market dynamics shaped by technological interventions in Faisalabad's goat milk sector. From enhanced productivity to new entrepreneurial opportunities, these technologies have transformed the goat dairy sector into a dynamic and thriving industry. However, challenges such as high initial costs, limited technical expertise, and inadequate infrastructure remain. Policy interventions and institutional support will be crucial in addressing these barriers and ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of the sector.
