Assessing of simulated and experimental production potential for wheat crop using DSSAT model under plain zone of Chhattisgarh state

International Journal of Chemical Studies · 2018 · Vol. 6(5) · pp. 3413–3414

Abstract

The production potential of wheat due to climatic variability and nutrient availability in Chhattisgarh plain zone were simulated using crop simulation modeling approach and were assessing Raipur district at three dates of sowing viz. Nov. 25(D1), Dec. 05(D2) and Dec. 10(D3) Results revealed that the model outputs were D1 was higher under observed and simulate condition at vegetative weight as well as grain weight and decreasing the yield with increasing the sowing dates. Results indicated that deviation account of dissatisfactory environment conditions, N deficiency or unbalance of nutrient at subsequent period. And CERES-Wheat model can be used as a tool to support decision-making for wheat production in different three dates of sowing.
